Honda Pilot EX 2008 - Component Locations - Under-Hood FuseRelay Box

Introduction

This article will provide you with the locations of the under-hood fuse and relay box in your 2008 Honda Pilot EX.

Fuse and Relay Box Location

The under-hood fuse and relay box is located in the engine compartment on the driver's side.

To access the fuse and relay box:

1. Open the hood.
2. Locate the fuse and relay box on the driver's side of the engine compartment.
3. Remove the cover from the fuse and relay box.

The fuse and relay box contains a variety of fuses and relays that protect the electrical system in your Pilot.

Fuse and Relay Identification

The fuses and relays in the fuse and relay box are identified by their location in the box and their amperage or function.

To identify a fuse or relay, refer to the fuse and relay panel diagram located on the inside of the fuse and relay box cover.

Fuse and Relay Replacement

If a fuse or relay blows, it must be replaced with a new one of the same amperage or function.

To replace a fuse:

1. Use a fuse puller to remove the blown fuse from the fuse box.
2. Insert a new fuse of the same amperage into the fuse box.
3. Replace the fuse box cover.

To replace a relay:

1. Locate the relay that needs to be replaced.
2. Use a pair of pliers to remove the relay from the relay box.
3. Insert a new relay of the same function into the relay box.
4. Replace the relay box cover.
